RedBird Technology was founded by Tim Smelcer, a United States Air Force veteran, with over 35 years in the information technology field. Mr. Smelcer, President and CEO, has been recognized by Smart CEO magazine as one of the predominant successful Chief Information Officers in the Baltimore area. He served on the Maryland CIO Roundtable board from 2005 to 2009 providing technical advice and solutions to many Maryland businesses.
With rapid advancements in technology, decreasing technology life cycles, legislative mandates, and the increasing demands for government responsiveness, access, and transparency; government managers have an overwhelming array of challenges to tackle.
